1 General
Access to the website (http://www.yourparty.org) and use of the services, hereafter referred to collectively as 'the Service' is provided by Your Party subject to the following terms and conditions:
1.1 By using the Service you agree to be legally bound by these terms, which shall take effect immediately on your first use of the Service. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all the following terms please do not access and/or use the Service
1.2 These terms may be amended at any time by posting changes online. Please review these terms regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you agree to be legally bound by these terms as updated and/or amended.
2 Use of the Service
2.1 You may not copy, reproduce, republish, download, post, broadcast, transmit or otherwise use content in any way except for your own personal, non-commercial use. You also agree not to adapt, alter or create a derivative work from any Your Party content except for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use of content requires the prior written permission of Your Party.
2.2 Permission to use documents (such as press releases, campaigning material) from YourParty.org is granted for journalistic purposes. However, if you are not a member of the media this permission is conditional on: (1) the copyright notice below appears in all copies and that both the copyright notice and this permission notice appear, (2) use of such documents from the Service is for informational and non-commercial or personal use only and will not be copied or posted on any network computer or broadcast in any media, and (3) no modifications of any documents are made.
2.3 You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes, and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit other user’s enjoyment of the Service. Prohibited behaviour includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any person, transmitting obscene or offensive content or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within the Service.
2.4 You agree that as a member of Your Party or a user of the Service you have a special responsibility to act in good faith and to provide accurate personal information. Your Party has the right to i) verify the authenticity of that information ii) withhold your membership, and or voting rights in the event that information that you have given is found or suspected to be false.
2.5 The Service is solely designed for use by residents of the UK.
2.6 Your Party offers no indemnity against legal action against users in cases where their use of the Service gives rise to civil or criminal charges. In such circumstances Your Party will cooperate with all parties with whom we are legally bound to provide personal information about users of the Service.
2.7 Your Party makes no warranties regarding the Service, which is provided on an AS IS basis, with no guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free or virus free.
2.8 Your Party will not be liable for any damages arising from loss or misuse of your password or other damages, including indirect or inconsequential damages, or any damage arising from use or loss of use, data or profits.
2.9 Your Party is not responsible in any way for links to third party sites. Links to other sites do not reflect an association with Your Party, its aims, opinions or organisation.
3 Votes and Polls
3.1 Voting members must use the service on a one-member one-vote basis and are expressly prohibited from registering more than once for the Service. Users attempting to defraud the voting system will be have their membership suspended and may become the subject of a criminal investigation for electoral fraud.
3.2 Voting members must be 18 years of age, UK citizens and otherwise eligible to vote in Parliamentary and European Elections.
4 Message Boards, Discussion lists and User Comments
4.1 You agree to use the Service in accordance with the following rules. These apply across all sites within the service. You should, however, read the local rules of particular sections on the site or service you’re using, as there may be some local variations to these rules.
4.2 Where possible the Service will use moderators but makes no warranties in this respect. Comments may be edited or removed by moderators at any time if they are in breach of the rules.

5 Use of the Service by younger persons
5.1 If you are younger than 16 years old you should seek permission from a parent or guardian before using the site. You will then be free to make full use of the site.
5.2 No guarantee is made that this site if free of inappropriate content. Younger persons should be especially careful about giving out personal information such as name, home or email address or telephone number.
6 Donations
6.1 Any donations which are not-compliant with the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000 will be returned, or where this is not possible sent to the Electoral Commission in accordance with the Act.
6.2 Donations made to Your Party are not deemed to have been accepted upon receipt. Your Party reserves the right to refuse donations which do not meet with Your Party Board approval.
7 Survival and Jurisdiction
7.1 If any of these terms are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these terms are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the remaining terms shall survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.
